Baby Loss Awareness Events

Light up the Sky

Throughout October, homes, landmarks, neighborhoods, and businesses across the nation are invited to Light It Up Pink and Blue for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. This powerful display of pink and blue lights raises visibility for grieving families while reminding communities that their babies are not forgotten. October is also recognized for breast cancer awareness, making this a meaningful time to stand together in love, hope, and remembrance. Whether you light your porch, office, storefront, or school, your glow will help break the silence around miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, and infertility. We provide free marketing materials to make it easy to inspire participation and spread awareness. Consider going further by hosting a fundraiser, sponsoring your town’s display, or donating to Chasing the Rainbows to expand our reach. Together, let’s Light Up the Sky in pink and blue and honor every precious life gone too soon.

Awareness Events

Join us on October 15th at 7:00 PM local time for the Honor Out Loud Candlelighting Ceremony as we unite across the country on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, infertility, or pregnancy after loss are invited to light a candle, speak their baby’s name, and honor their memory out loud. This national event reminds us that no one grieves alone and that love lives on through remembrance. If your town doesn’t yet have a ceremony, consider hosting one in your community to bring awareness and connection. You can also get involved by donating, sponsoring, or starting an online fundraiser to support grieving families nationwide. Together, we’ll light up our sky for hope, and healing across the USA.

Annual Gala

On October 18th, join us for our 3rd Annual Chasing the Rainbows Gala at the prestigious Out Door Country Club of York. A night of remembrance, hope, and healing. This inspiring charity gala brings together community leaders, donors, and compassionate hearts to raise vital funds for our free, nationwide support services for families facing miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, infertility, or pregnancy after loss. From therapy and support groups to mentorship and mindfulness programs, your attendance and sponsorship bring light to grieving parents across the country. Whether you’re seeking to attend a charity gala, sponsor a nonprofit event, or donate to a meaningful cause, your support makes a life-changing difference. Together, we honor babies gone too soon and help families find hope again. Reserve your ticket, sponsor, or give today.

Help Us Light Up All 50 States for Baby Loss Awareness Month This October

Every October, we remember the babies who should be here—but aren’t. Whether due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, termination for medical reasons, SIDS, or infertility—1 in 4 families will experience the heartbreaking loss of a baby.

This October, join Chasing the Rainbows in our mission to turn grief into light during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

Our goal: Light up all 50 states in pink and blue to honor every baby gone too soon and every parent navigating life after loss. From homes and neighborhoods to city halls, schools, hospitals, and small businesses—we invite you to help us spread awareness and compassion nationwide.

How to Get Involved:

💡Illuminate your home or business in pink and blue during October

💡Ask local landmarks, city councils, or buildings to join the campaign

💡Share our message and free awareness materials on social media #HonorOutLoud #UnitingLossParents

💡Host a FUN-Raising Event in Honor of Your Baby Gone Too Soon

💡Encourage your community to host a candlelight ceremony on October 15th for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Together, we can break the silence, honor our babies out loud, and make sure no grieving family feels alone. Let’s shine a light across America—one building, one home, one heart at a time.
